Eden Pet Foods is a family run, British dog and cat food brand. Their products are inspired by the canine and feline ‘ancestral diet’ offering high protein, easy to digest food that is similar to what pets would have eaten in the wild. They were keen to create more imagery that reflected the unique bond we have with our pets.
I was asked to create a body of work exploring the human-canine connection in a number of scenarios. From a day at the beach to dog friendly dining and children and puppies interacting safely together. The project used dog models of all ages. It consisted of both stills and video clips, which could later be used across the Eden Pet Foods social media, digital and print marketing materials. The project focussed around their training treats and gourmet sausages. I worked with a number of models throughout this project including Dalmatians, a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Wirehaired Dachshund and two young Working Cocker Spaniel puppies.
The final images were used on the Eden social media channels as a teaser for the product launches. They also featured on the product websites, alongside two of the video clips as banners on the pages. Images were also used on the Eden stand at Crufts 2023, which won the Trade Stand Competition, Medium Category award.

The entire process from conceptualisation to shoot days was a delightful experience, as we worked together to capture the perfect shots of our products in different settings, with furry models who couldn’t get enough of our tasty treats! 😋
